Mordred | The Noise Years 3cd Deluxe Digipack | 3CD

Mordred is a band formed in 1984 in San Francisco, USA, and was initially part of the city's thrash scene of the 1980s. The band began adding funk influences to its thrash sound, most notably on the album In This Life. Vocalist Scott Holderby left around the time of Visions in 1992, and the band recorded The Next Room in 1994 with Paul Kimball on vocals before parting ways. Holderby and most core members reunited in late 2001, and the band returned with a new album in 2021 and continues to play live.

The Noise Years is a three disc compilation by Mordred, released in 2021 by Dissonance Productions in the UK. It gathers three full albums and 43 tracks in total, drawn from the period 1989 to 1994 when the band was signed to the German metal label Noise Records. The release is rock with thrash and funk metal styles.
