Mother Gong | Live In The Usa | CD

Mother Gong was an offshoot of the band Gong, first imagined by Gilli Smyth in 1978. Smyth worked with Harry Williamson on the project, and the band had several line-ups over the following years. After Williamson left in 1991 or 1992, Smyth continued to use the name until 2006.

Live 1991 is a single disc remastered reissue CD album by Mother Gong and Tom the Poet, released by Voiceprint in 2008. Tom the Poet is credited with vocals, Gilli Smyth with vocals and words, and Harry Williamson with guitar, keyboards and vocals. Robert Calvert plays tenor saxophone.
