New Order | Total (Joy Division & New Order) | VINYL

New Order are an English group whose synthesis of post-punk, electronic dance music and melodic songwriting reshaped alternative music. Their recordings balance emotional restraint, inventive rhythm and a clean, highly influential studio sound.

Total connects Joy Division’s recordings with New Order’s development from post-punk towards electronic dance music. The compilation follows the shared history of the two bands.
