Nirvana | Hollywood Rock Festival, Rio '93 | 2CD

Nirvana was a rock and grunge band from Aberdeen, Washington, USA, formed in 1987 and built around a power trio of musicians. The band emerged from the Seattle grunge scene of the late 1980s and early 1990s, and its 1991 major-label debut for DGC/Geffen Records brought the band and grunge into the American mainstream. Kurt Cobain's death in April 1994 brought the band to an end.

This two-disc release is a live recording of a concert at the Hollywood Rock Festival, held at Praça da Apoteose in Rio de Janeiro on 23 January 1993. The set was originally broadcast on MTV Brazil and includes a guest appearance by Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers. It was issued by Interference in 2016 as an unofficial release in Europe.
