Nirvana | MTV Unplugged In New York | CD

Nirvana were an American rock band whose raw dynamics, melodic instinct and emotional directness brought alternative music into the mainstream. Their recordings remain celebrated for Kurt Cobain’s songwriting, the trio’s explosive interplay and a sound that balances abrasion with unforgettable hooks.

MTV Unplugged In New York presents Nirvana in an acoustic setting, combining its own songs with covers. The arrangements bring the band’s melodic and emotional detail into focus.
