Oceans Of Slumber | Oceans Of Slumber | CD

Oceans of Slumber are an American band from Houston whose music connects progressive metal with doom, soul and atmospheric rock. Their arrangements place expressive lead vocals alongside heavier guitar passages, keyboards and changing rhythms, allowing quieter material and extreme-metal elements to coexist.

Released in 2020, the self-titled Oceans of Slumber album develops the band's dramatic, progressive approach across an extended programme. Songs move between heavy sections and more restrained textures, with the vocal performances providing a continuous thread through the changing instrumental settings.
