Dustin O'Halloran | 1001 | CD

Dustin O'Halloran is an American pianist and composer whose work spans solo recordings, film scores and collaborative projects. His music often uses restrained melodic ideas and carefully controlled space, connecting acoustic piano writing with electronic texture and contemporary chamber-music influences.

Released in 2024, 1001 expands O'Halloran's piano-centred approach into electronic and ensemble settings. The album explores the relationship between the human and the technological through gradually unfolding compositions, using texture and sustained development alongside more familiar melodic passages.
