Opeth | The Last Will And Testament (2lp Rough Seas Vinyl - Indie Exclusive) | 2LP

Opeth is a Swedish progressive metal band from Stockholm, formed in 1990. Although the band has changed personnel over the years, singer, guitarist and songwriter Mikael Åkerfeldt has remained its constant member. Its music draws on progressive, folk, blues, classical and jazz influences as well as black metal and death metal.

The Last Will And Testament is a double vinyl album by Opeth, released in 2024 on Reigning Phoenix Music as two 12 inch discs at 45 RPM. It is the fourteenth studio album by the Swedish progressive metal band and the first since In Cauda Venenum (2019), and the first to feature drummer Waltteri Väyrynen, who in 2022 officially replaced Martin Axenrot after his departure the year before. It is the band's first fully conceptual album since Still Life (1999), and it returns to death metal elements such as death growls, last heard on Watershed (2008).
