Oscar Peterson | Stuttgart Concert | DVD

Oscar Peterson was a Canadian jazz pianist whose virtuosity, rhythmic precision and melodic imagination made his playing instantly recognisable. His recordings combine intricate keyboard work with a strong sense of swing and close interaction between musicians.

The Stuttgart Concert presents Oscar Peterson's trio in performance in 1988. The filmed programme gives his intricate piano playing and interaction with the accompanying musicians a clear concert setting.
