Jon Pardi | Mr. Saturday Night | CD

Jon Pardi is an American country singer whose work draws on honky-tonk and neotraditional country styles. Fiddle, steel guitar and rhythmic band arrangements support his direct vocal delivery, connecting contemporary songwriting with the sound of earlier country dance music.

Released in 2022, Mr. Saturday Night combines dance-oriented country songs with material about heartbreak and relationships. Its arrangements retain Pardi's emphasis on traditional instrumentation, using the contrast between upbeat rhythms and reflective writing to shape the programme.
