Parliament | Mothership Connection | CD

Parliament are an American funk group led by George Clinton, celebrated for elastic grooves, ensemble vocals and an elaborate science-fiction mythology. Their recordings placed funk at its most ambitious and rhythmically powerful.

Mothership Connection places Parliament’s science-fiction imagery over deep funk grooves, vocal interplay and horn-driven arrangements. This CD programme includes an additional version of Star Child.

Edition: CD. Label: Def Jam.
