Arvo Pärt | Tabula Rasa / Symphony No. 1 | VINYL

Arvo Pärt is an Estonian composer whose spare tintinnabuli style uses bell-like harmonies, silence and repetition to create profound stillness. His music is one of the most recognisable voices in contemporary classical composition.

This programme brings together Arvo Pärt’s Tabula Rasa and Symphony No. 1, contrasting the composer’s later, spare musical language with his earlier orchestral writing.

Edition: 2LP. Label: Vinyl Passion.
