Jaco Pastorius was an American bassist and composer whose fretless technique, lyrical tone and harmonic freedom transformed the role of electric bass in jazz. His work combines virtuosity with melodic and rhythmic imagination.
Word Of Mouth expands Pastorius’ music into larger ensembles, combining jazz orchestration, virtuoso bass and adventurous arrangements. The programme includes Liberty City and Three Views Of A Secret.
Edition: 1LP. Label: Music On Vinyl.
