Pat Alger | True Love & Other Short Stories | CD

Pat Alger is an American singer and songwriter whose recordings connect country and folk traditions with direct storytelling. His music gives expressive vocals and clear acoustic melodies a central role, supported by roots-music arrangements that allow the lyrical character of each song to emerge.

True Love & Other Short Stories includes True Love, Lone Star State of Mind, Goin' Gone. The programme places Pat Alger’s distinctive performances within a sequence of contrasting musical passages, presented here in a CD edition.
