Gibbons, Polly | All I Can Do | CD

Polly Gibbons is a British singer whose repertoire connects jazz, soul and blues. Her warm tone and expressive phrasing give familiar songs an individual character, while the interaction with accompanying musicians allows melodic interpretation and rhythmic flexibility to develop together.

All I Can Do captures Polly Gibbons with her New York band before a live audience at Power Station at Berklee NYC. The performances bring jazz, blues, soul and pop into the same programme, using the interaction between singer and musicians to give familiar material an individual emotional character.
