Giddens, Rhiannon | Youre The One | 1LP

Rhiannon Giddens is an American singer and multi-instrumentalist whose work explores the connections between folk traditions, historical repertoire and contemporary songwriting. Her expressive voice and knowledge of string instruments bring musical craft and cultural context together, making individual songs part of a wider conversation about heritage and experience.

You're the One is Rhiannon Giddens' first solo album made entirely from original songs. The twelve track programme brings her knowledge of folk traditions into conversation with soul and popular song, while Yet to Be includes Jason Isbell.
