Sepultura | Roots 25th Anniversary Edition | 1LP

Sepultura is a Brazilian metal band founded in 1984 in Belo Horizonte by brothers Max and Igor Cavalera. The line-up that included Max Cavalera until 1996 is often considered the classic one. On 8 December 2023 the band announced its breakup and a farewell tour for 2024.

This Warner Records release is a box set of Roots, the sixth studio album by the Brazilian metal band Sepultura, issued as a 25th anniversary edition on five vinyl LPs. Ross Robinson produced the album, and Guy Charbonneau is credited as engineer. The set collects every track associated with the album, together with alternate takes, rough mixes, demos and alternate mixes. It also includes a previously unreleased live recording from Ozzfest in Phoenix, Arizona in 1996, which was found in the Warner vaults and is exclusive to this set.
