Marillion | Clutching At Straws | 5LP

Marillion formed in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England in 1979 and has been recording consistently since 1982. Their output is generally regarded as falling into two distinct eras, one with original vocalist Fish and one with his replacement, Steve Hogarth, who joined after Fish's departure in 1989. The band's differing styles between the two vocalists have often been known to divide fans.

This is a five-LP vinyl box set of Marillion's Clutching At Straws, released by Parlophone in 2018 in Europe. LPs one and two contain a 2018 stereo remix of the 1987 album by Andy Bradfield and Avril Mackintosh, while LPs three, four and five contain the band's concert at the Edinburgh Playhouse on 19 December 1987, remixed by Michael Hunter. Clutching At Straws was the band's fourth studio album and the last to feature Fish on vocals, and it charted at number 2 in the UK.
