Norrington, Roger | Complete Erato Recordings, The | CD

Roger Norrington is a British conductor, born in Oxford, England, on 16 March 1934 and died in Devon, England, on 18 July 2025. He is best known for reviving early music using period instruments, or at least period style and principles, in Baroque, Classical and Romantic music. He came to public attention in 1962 with a concert with the Schutz Chorale, which he had just formed along with the amateur Heinrich Schutz Choir.

The Complete Erato Recordings is a 45 disc CD reissue box set compilation released on Erato on 11 November 2022. It contains recordings made from 1986 to 2004, with Roger Norrington credited as conductor.
