Nirvana | Nevermind | 2CD
Nirvana was a rock and grunge band from Aberdeen, Washington, USA, formed in 1987 and built around a power trio of musicians. The band emerged from the Seattle grunge scene of the late 1980s and early 1990s, and its 1991 major-label debut for DGC/Geffen Records brought the band and grunge into the American mainstream. Kurt Cobain's death in April 1994 brought the band to an end.
Nevermind is an album by Nirvana, released on two CDs by Geffen Records in 2021 in Europe. It commemorates the 30th anniversary of the 1991 album, with the remastered album taken from the original analog tapes, and the second disc contains selections from four concerts on the Nevermind tour in Amsterdam, Del Mar, Melbourne and Tokyo. Butch Vig and Nirvana are credited as producers.
