CURE | Seventeen Seconds | CD

The Cure are a British band led by Robert Smith whose music spans atmospheric post-punk, gothic rock and melodic pop. Their recordings move between spare, introspective arrangements and expansive songs with distinctive guitar and keyboard textures.

Seventeen Seconds is the Cure's second studio album, originally released in 1980 and co-produced by Robert Smith and Mike Hedges. Its sparse arrangements and tightly controlled mood include A Forest, the band's first UK top-forty single.
