Frankie Goes To Hollywood | Liverpool | 1LP

Frankie Goes To Hollywood is a pop group formed in Liverpool, UK, in 1980. A BBC Radio 1 DJ banned the debut single, which became an international hit, and in 1984 the band's singles and double album reached number one in the UK. Vocalist William Holly Johnson left in 1987 to pursue a solo career, and the group later disbanded. The classic line-up reunited to play one song at the National Lottery's Big Eurovision Welcome concert on 7 May 2023.

Liverpool is a 2020 vinyl LP reissue of the album by Frankie Goes To Hollywood, released on the ZTT label in Europe on one disc. The album followed Welcome to the Pleasuredome and was top ten all over the world, featuring the singles 'Rage Hard', 'Warriors of the Wasteland' and 'Watching the Wildlife'. Trevor Horn is credited as executive producer, Stephen Lipson as producer, and Richard Niles arranged the strings and brass.
