Thin Lizzy | Life - Live | 2CD

Thin Lizzy is an Irish rock band formed in 1969 in Dublin. The band took its name at the suggestion of Eric Bell, from the character Tin Lizzie in the comic The Beano, which Bell had been reading during rehearsals. The band disbanded on 4 September 1983 and later reformed with various former members.

Life Live is the final album by Irish rock band Thin Lizzy, a live recording made during their farewell tour in 1983. This two-disc set was issued in Europe in 2023 on the UMC label. Phil Lynott had felt it was time to disband the group after that tour, and former guitarists Eric Bell, Brian Robertson and Gary Moore joined the band on stage at the end of these gigs. During The Rocker all of the guitarists played at once, making eight members on stage together.
