Roberta Flack | With Her Songs The Atlantic A | CD

Roberta Flack was a soul singer and songwriter, born on 10 February 1937 in Black Mountain, North Carolina, USA, and died on 24 February 2025 in Manhattan, New York City. From 1969 she recorded 16 albums, solo or in duet, and she is best known for the hit singles 'Killing Me Softly', 'First Time Ever I Saw Your Face' and 'Feel Like Makin' Love'. She duetted with Donny Hathaway and Peabo Bryson, recording two albums with each of them.

With Her Songs: The Atlantic Albums 1969-1978 is an eight-disc set from Rhino Records, released on 6 February 2026. It presents newly remastered versions of the first eight studio albums Roberta Flack recorded for Atlantic Records, from her debut First Take (1969) to her self-titled 1978 album. Producers credited on the collection include Joel Dorn, Eugene McDaniels, Joe Ferla and Rubina Flake.
