Zomba Prison Project | I Have No Everything | CD

Zomba Prison Project is the work of American producer Ian Brennan and his wife, Italian photographer and filmmaker Marilena Delli, who travelled to southern Malawi in the summer of 2013 to record music by prisoners at the maximum security prison in Zomba. The prison was built in the 19th century and was designed to hold 340 people, but today it houses over two thousand. The pair had previously travelled to Rwanda, South Sudan, Palestine, Kenya and Algeria, among other countries, to record music.
