Bracha Eden / Alexander Tamir | Brahms: Works for Piano Duet | 2CD

Bracha Eden and Alexander Tamir were a piano duo whose recordings explored music for two pianists. Their performances bring independent keyboard lines into close conversation, balancing melodic detail, rhythmic coordination and the changing weight of the combined piano sound.

Bracha Eden and Alexander Tamir perform Brahms’s music for piano duet across two CDs. The first disc presents three complete variation and waltz collections; the second pairs the four movements of the Third Symphony with the Schumann Variations. The eight indexed programme units are retained as listed by JPC and Presto, without inventing separate variation or waltz track indexes.
