Blaster Bates | Watch Out For The Bits | CD

Blaster Bates was the stage name of Derek Macintosh, an English entertainer known for stories drawing on his work with explosives. His recordings focus on spoken delivery and comic storytelling, giving the narrator’s performance the central role.

Watch Out for the Bits presents Blaster Bates' spoken-word humour on CD. The programme draws on recorded appearances at clubs and societies, with anecdote and live delivery shaping the material rather than a conventional song album.
