Soul II Soul | Soul 2 Soul / Vol.4 (The Class | CD

Soul II Soul is a dance and R&B group led by producer, vocalist and songwriter DJ Jazzie B. The musical collective came together in the late 1980s, originally featuring Jazzie B, Nellee Hooper and Philip Daddae Harvey, and its R&B borrowed from Philly soul, disco, reggae and 1980s hip-hop. Volume IV The Classic Singles 88-93 is a single-disc compilation of the group's singles, released in 1993 on the Virgin label for the UK and Europe. Its genres are electronic, reggae and funk and soul, with contemporary R&B, downtempo, house and soul as styles.
