Thin Lizzy | Fighting /R | CD

Thin Lizzy is an Irish rock band formed in 1969 in Dublin. The band took its name at the suggestion of Eric Bell, from the character Tin Lizzie in the comic The Beano, which Bell had been reading during rehearsals. The band disbanded on 4 September 1983 and later reformed with various former members.

Fighting is a remastered CD reissue released on 31 December 1993 by Vertigo. It was produced by Phil Lynott, who also sings lead vocals and plays bass and acoustic guitar, with Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham on guitar and Brian Downey on drums. It was the first album by the Irish rock band Thin Lizzy to chart in the UK, reaching number 60, and it includes the single 'Rosalie'.
