Sisters Of Mercy | Triple Album Collection(3Cd) | 3CD

The Sisters Of Mercy are a rock band formed in Leeds, UK, in 1980 by singer Andrew Eldritch and guitarist Gary Marx. Their dark subject matter, literary references, cavernous reverb and black record sleeves led the music press to describe them as a goth rock act, though the band has always rejected that description. The band released its debut album, First And Last And Always, in March 1985, after five years of independent releases that had built a large cult following.

This three disc CD box set from Rhino Records was released on 5 October 2012 and collects First And Last And Always, Floodland and Vision Thing, one album per disc. The first two discs include previously unreleased tracks. Producers credited include Andrew Eldritch, David M. Allen, Hugh Jones and Jim Steinman, with Larry Alexander also credited as producer.
