Gibson Brothers | Mockingbird | CD

The Gibson Brothers are an American duo whose music brings close harmony singing into a roots and bluegrass setting. Eric and Leigh Gibson's vocal blend and shared musical history give the songs continuity, while acoustic instruments and direct arrangements keep melody and storytelling in clear focus.

Mockingbird gives the Gibson Brothers a setting that broadens their bluegrass background towards country and 1970s influenced rock. Produced with Dan Auerbach, the album keeps Eric and Leigh Gibson's close harmonies at its centre while changing the instrumental textures around their shared vocal character.
