The Byrds | 20 Essential Tracks from the Box Set | CD

The Byrds were an American band whose recordings helped connect folk songwriting with electric rock arrangements. Their music combines distinctive vocal harmonies and guitar textures, developing songs through melodic detail, rhythmic band playing and influences that extend into country and other styles.

20 Essential Tracks from the Box Set collects twenty Byrds recordings on one CD. Mr. Tambourine Man, Turn! Turn! Turn! and Eight Miles High connect distinctive harmonies and electric guitar writing with songs from different parts of the group’s repertoire.
