Dave Brubeck | The Real Dave Brubeck | 3CD

Dave Brubeck was an American jazz pianist and composer whose recordings combine melodic improvisation with an interest in unusual rhythms and musical structures. His work with small ensembles gives the exchange between piano, horns and rhythm-section players a central role, developing pieces through detailed musical conversation.

The Real Dave Brubeck presents Dave Brubeck in this CD edition. The programme includes Take Five, When You Wish Upon a Star, Taking a Chance On Love, bringing the individual performances together within the release’s recorded sequence.
