Booker T. Jones | Sound the Alarm | CD

Booker T. Jones is an American keyboard player, songwriter and producer closely associated with Memphis soul and the band Booker T. & the MG's. His recordings connect organ and other keyboard parts with rhythmic ensemble arrangements and collaborations with vocal performers.

Sound the Alarm is a Booker T. Jones album rather than a conventional Booker T. & the MG's collection. The CD programme brings his keyboards together with guest vocal performances and rhythm-led arrangements, developing a contemporary soul setting across the songs.
