Art Farmer | Portrait Of Art Farmer | 1LP

Art Farmer was an American jazz trumpeter and flugelhorn player whose recordings include small-group sessions and orchestral collaborations. His work is associated with melodic phrasing and carefully shaped improvisation.

Portrait of Art Farmer revisits the trumpeter's 1958 Contemporary Records album with Hank Jones, Addison Farmer and Roy Haynes. This edition is a 180-gram vinyl reissue pressed at QRP, with lacquers cut from the original tapes by Bernie Grundman.
