Tony Bennett | Original Album Classics | 5CD

Tony Bennett was an American singer whose recordings brought expressive phrasing to popular standards and jazz-influenced songs. His performances combine clear melodic delivery with individual vocal detail, supported by arrangements ranging from small ensembles to orchestral accompaniment.

Original Album Classics gathers five Tony Bennett albums on five CDs: The Beat of My Heart, I Left My Heart in San Francisco, I Wanna Be Around, If I Ruled the World: Songs for the Jet Set and The Movie Song Album. Bennett’s phrasing moves between swinging ensembles, ballads and film songs; each disc’s ordered programme appears below.
