The Animals | Animals, The (1964) | CD

The Animals were a British band whose early recordings combined American blues and rhythm and blues with the energy of 1960s rock. Eric Burdon's lead vocals and Alan Price's keyboards were central to their early sound.

The Animals revisits the band's debut album, originally released in 1964 and produced by Mickie Most. The barcode-matched CD listing provides two discs with the same thirteen-song sequence, including The House of the Rising Sun. The source does not identify the mix distinction between the discs.
