Insomnium | One For Sorrow | CD

Insomnium is a melodic death metal band from Joensuu, Finland, formed in 1997. Their lyrics and themes of darkness, sorrow, loss, pain and nature are often based on poetry by Edgar Allan Poe, Hölderlin and the Finnish classics of Eino Leino. Although primarily melodic death metal, their music draws strong influences from doom metal.

One For Sorrow is a one-disc CD album released in October 2011 on Century Media. It is the fifth studio album by the band. Aleksi Munter and Ville Friman are credited as composers, Insomnium and Samu Oittinen as producers, Niilo Sevänen on vocals and bass, Ville Vänni on guitar and Markus Hirvonen on drums.
