Streets, | Darker The Shadow The Brig | CD

The Streets is a British act led by Mike Skinner, who was brought up in Birmingham and now lives in Brixton. The first two Streets albums were nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, and A Grand Don't Come For Free was nominated in 2004. The single 'Fit But You Know It' was a Top 5 hit in the summer of 2004.

The Darker the Shadow the Brighter the Light is the deluxe edition of the album, a one disc CD released by 679 and Warner Music UK in 2023. The songs soundtrack a film and at times narrate it, and the album and the film can be enjoyed separately. Mike Skinner wrote all the songs, with vocal contributions from Kevin Mark Trail and Robert Harvey, and a track featuring Teef. The edition includes bonus tracks.
