The Beta Band | The Beta Band (Anniversary Edition) | 2CD

The Beta Band were a Scottish group whose recordings connected rock, folk and electronic influences. Their music uses layered rhythms, melodic vocals and changing instrumental textures, often developing songs through contrasting sections and experimental detail.

The Beta Band revisits the group’s self-titled album in a reissue edition. Layered rhythms, vocals and instrumental textures connect the songs, developing the band’s mixture of rock and electronic influences. The programme connects the band’s melodic writing with contrasting production textures.
