The Byrds | Younger Than Yesterday | CD

The Byrds were an American band whose recordings helped connect folk songwriting with electric rock arrangements. Their music combines distinctive vocal harmonies and guitar textures, developing songs through melodic detail, rhythmic band playing and influences that extend into country and other styles.

Younger Than Yesterday presents the Byrds’ album in an expanded seventeen-track CD programme. The songs connect harmonised vocals, electric guitar writing and contrasting rhythmic arrangements, with additional selections extending the original release.
