Ghostpoet | Dark Days And Canapes | CD

Ghostpoet is the recording name of British musician Obaro Ejimiwe. His distinctive spoken and sung delivery sits within music that moves between electronics, guitar textures and understated rhythms, while his writing approaches everyday uncertainty and social observation with an intimate, reflective voice.

Dark Days + Canapés gives Ghostpoet's distinctive delivery a setting shaped by guitar textures and atmospheric production. The songs approach private uncertainty and the pressures of the surrounding world through close observation, allowing understated rhythms and changing arrangements to support the words without overwhelming their conversational character.
