Queen | Deep Cuts 2 1977-82 | CD

Queen is a British rock band formed in London in 1970. The band has released 18 number one albums and has sold over 300 million albums worldwide. Queen were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, and lead singer Freddie Mercury died in November 1991.

Deep Cuts 2 (1977-1982) is a single CD compilation of Queen tracks released by Island Records in 2011. It was chosen by Roger Taylor and Brian May as a companion to the band's five albums released between 1977 and 1982: News of the World, Jazz, The Game, Flash Gordon and Hot Space. The compilation is intended to show less well known sides of the band's work from that period.
