REEF | Getaway | CD

Reef is an English band formed in Glastonbury in 1993. Their early success followed the use of their song Naked in a Sony Minidisc television advert, and Place Your Hands gained further attention when it was used as an alternative intro to a section of a TV show called It's Your Letter. The band split in 2003 and formed other bands, then reformed in 2010 for live concerts. In 2014 the original guitarist left the band.

Getaway is a CD album by Reef, released in 2000 on the Sony Soho Square label in Europe, and it is classified as alternative rock. The album was produced, engineered and mixed by Alistair Clay. Gary Stringer is credited with vocals, and Dominic Greensmith and Gary Stringer are credited with the lyrics. It was recorded at ICP Studios in Brussels and The Church in London, and mixed at BJG Studios in London.
