Renaissance | Azure D'or Expanded 2cd/Dvd Set | 3CD

Renaissance was formed in London in 1969 by former vocalist Keith Relf and drummer Jim McCarty, who wanted to blend rock, folk and classical music. The lineup changed rapidly, and by 1973 had stabilised around Annie Haslam, Michael Dunford, John Tout, Jon Camp and Terry Sullivan, a group that made a string of relatively successful albums over the rest of the decade. Their single 25018 from the album 24998 (1978) was one Top 10 hit in the UK.

This is a three-disc box set released on 16 December 2022 by Esoteric Recordings, made up of two CDs and one Blu-ray disc. The original album was produced and engineered by David Hentschel. Ben Wiseman handled the remastering, and Stephen W. Tayler mixed the 5.1 surround sound and stereo audio. Liner notes are by Mike Barnes.
