Fripp, Robert | Exposure | 1LP
Robert Fripp is a British guitarist, keyboards player, writer and producer, born in Wimborne, Dorset, England, on 16 May 1946. He is best known as a founder and the only continuous member of King Crimson, whose debut album In The Court Of The Crimson King was released in 1969. Fripp developed Frippertronics and Soundscapes, a method of making a lot of noise with one guitar through tape or digital delay, rack-mount synthesizers and other effects. He co-owns and operates DGM, a record label which specialises in releasing King Crimson material and side projects from many of the rotating King Crimson members.
Exposure is a vinyl LP album by Robert Fripp, released by Panegyric on 27 May 2022 as a stereo reissue. The album was first released in 1979 as Fripp's first solo album, and this edition is newly mixed by Steven Wilson from the original multi-track tapes. Contributors include Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, Daryl Hall, Phil Collins, Peter Hammill and Tony Levin.
