Robert Hunter was an American lyricist, singer-songwriter, translator and poet. He wrote lyrics for the Grateful Dead, including "Uncle John's Band", "Dark Star", "Truckin'" and "China Cat Sunflower", and worked as a full-time lyricist for the band while also releasing his own recordings. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Grateful Dead in 1994 and is the only non-performer to be inducted as a member of a band.

Tiger Rose Rarities is a single vinyl LP released by Rhino Records in 2025 as a Record Store Day Limited Edition, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Robert Hunter's second studio album Tiger Rose. This release contains alternate versions of the album tracks 'One Thing To Try' and 'Tiger Rose', along with 'Talkin' Money Tree Blues', which was recorded with the album and released in 1975 on the Sampler For Dead Heads 7-inch.
