Roots Radics Band | Scientist & Jammy Strike Back! (Yellow Vinyl) | LP

The Roots Radics began in 1978 as members of the Channel One studio session group, known as the Revolutionaries. After the Channel One rhythm section of Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare left to work on their own label, Taxi Records, the group became the Roots Radics in late 1979. They are described as spearheads of the dancehall style that dominated reggae in the first half of the eighties, and have supported artists such as Bunny Wailer, Gregory Isaacs and Barrington Levy.

Scientist And Jammy Strike Back! is a vinyl LP album by The Roots Radics, issued on Culture Factory in 2026 as a limited edition reissue. It is a single disc with a release date of 29 May 2026, and Linval Thompson is credited as producer and writer.
