Ruby Braff | Linger Awhile | CD

Ruby Braff was an American jazz cornetist whose playing drew on the melodic and ensemble traditions of earlier jazz. His recordings use lyrical phrasing, a warm instrumental tone and close musical interaction to develop standards and other repertoire through improvisation.

Linger Awhile presents Ruby Braff in this CD edition. The programme includes Thou Swell, Where Or When, In A Mountain Greenery, bringing the individual performances together within the release’s recorded sequence.
