Shakespears Sister | Hormonally Yours | CD
Shakespear's Sister was formed by Siobhan Fahey in 1988 as her first musical project after leaving Bananarama, initially as a solo project. American backing vocalist and guitarist Marcella Detroit, also known as Marcy Levy, began working with Fahey in 1989, and the project became a duo with the hit single You're History. After a string of hit singles and two successful albums, Fahey and Detroit split in 1993, and Fahey continued as the sole member until 1996. Fahey revived the band in 2009 to release a new album, and in May 2019 the band announced a reunion.
Hormonally Yours is a single disc album by Shakespear's Sister, released in 1992 by London Records in Europe. Alan Moulder and Shakespear's Sister are credited as producers, and the vocals are by Marcella Detroit and Siobhan Fahey. Keyboards are credited to Edward Shearmur, with additional keyboards by Ian Maidman, Jonathan Perkins and Steve Ferrera.
